FlagDay : Splog Detected and reported
"Matt Haughey has inspired other bloggers to organize an official day to help us find spam blogs". Have announced the Buzz Blogger days ago. I was a little busy to announce this before, but I have setup an auto-blogger reporting. Which mean blog detected as splog are automaticly reported to blogger.
I didn't want to add this feature in the beginning because you have noticed that the detection algorythm wasn't a perfection, but now all tests I have made are positive splogs detected correctly and AntiSplog too. So I guess its time to work on automation.
Also I have contacted Buzz Blogger to inform them about this tool, joining the effort will help to fight spammers. The current routine work perfectly with blogger spammers. If you notice incorrect results we'll work on them to fix that as soon as possible.
So today, if you want to join the FlagDay, using AntiSplog.net automated reporting will help us to stop more spammers and in the same time report them to blogger.
Actually the cases that I'm still working on are spammers that spend some money to register domain names and use them for spam : The smart spammers. Thanks again for all the feedbacks that I have received and without it this tool cannot be improved.
